The Rain Gods smile.

I hereby declare that nothing in this world can match the beauty of dark, gray, afternoon skies, laden with thick, pregnant clouds ready to burst open… with streaks of lightning flashing across its heavy, nebulous surface.. and the giant, old avenue trees... long aimless drives on wet, black roads with cold wind blowing in your ears...

It rained recently for a few days in Bangalore.

The feeling of tiny rain drops stinging my face in the chilly wind, especially after the searing heat of the previous weeks, was absolutely wonderful.

I’m sure there's something symbolic about it, in a weird philosophical way… but I’m not even venturing there. ;-p

Update : The Photograph IS mine.
